      As a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Megan Shea became an achieved full-time Food Stylist in Dallas, TX. While there, she learned, studied and worked alongside with companies, corporations, agencies and photographers. Gaining knowledge, experience and memories with people who have amazing insight and talent.             
       She has since relocated to Omaha, NE and primarily works in the Midwest, but travels wherever the work takes her. Her skill sets include, editorial, commercial, film, menus, social media, packaging and catalog styling.
        Overall, MeltedByMeg Food Styling focuses on delivering beautiful work with precision and ingenuity, all while providing the best outcome with the highest level of professionalism and spontaneity for each individual client. Meg is always down for a fun collaboration and more importantly, a bowl of ice cream! MeltedByMeg Food Styling is available for national and international bookings. She is always just a short email away to answer any questions, or give insight into potential projects!

Megan was generous with her time as she demonstrated her work as a Food Stylist in a hands-on practical setting for the students of the Culinary Workforce Training Program at No More Empty Pots. It introduced the students to an aspect of the food industry that one rarely experiences in-person. Megan showed the students how she collaborated with a photographer and considers the circumstances of lighting, composition, and the many variables she considers when trying to meet the objectives of her clients. Megan made her many years of experience feel accessible and provided visibility to a career whose effort functions in the background, while the end result is at the forefront of a product’s marketing strategy. Megan was able to bring out all of the unseen nuances of food styling for the students in the same moment she is creating a bold style that serves the clients.
